If you are intending in developing a new orchard and wish to connect a new system you must following the steps below:
- Reach out to the operations supervisor first to discuss the connection.
- PID will mark any existing pipelines in the area to ensure that you do not plant your orchard on top of District facilities
- PID will construct your new turnout in compliance with the PID standards either with District forces or a contractor PID retains
- These costs will be borne by the applicant, however whomever is the landowner will have the ultimate responsibility for the bill in the even you fail to pay the invoice
- Your installation will need to be in compliance with the District’s standards
- Fill out and submit the Irrigator Improvement application to apply.
- Depending on the type of PID facility you connect to will determine the recommended installation
- In the event you fail to comply with District standards for your system the District may refuse service to you until you meet the District’s standards for connecting to our facilities
