Dear water users and landowners of the Patterson Irrigation District,

Attached below is a letter that is being sent out providing updates on the current drought conditions and actions that the Patterson Irrigation District Board has prepared. PID is anticipating that we may observe shortages on water supply at any time now depending on determinations by the SWRCB affecting our water supply on the San Joaquin River and operations for the Delta-Mendota Canal. Please plan accordingly, we can’t promise that we will or won’t be cut off from the San Joaquin River.

Moving into the irrigation season, please plan appropriately and watch your water wisely. We may need to ration water supplies that may affect your ability to get water when you want and how much. Be patient with your operators as they are doing everything they can to get you water.

PID staff are continually monitoring conditions and will do what we can to best serve our water users and landowners. Thank you for being understanding in this difficult time, and please work with staff as we navigate this trying time.
