Northern and Central Delta-Mendota Regions

Draft Groundwater Sustainability Plan Available for Public Comment

On September 9, 2019, the Northern & Central Delta-Mendota Region Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) Group released the draft Northern & Central Delta-Mendota Region GSP to the applicable cities and counties as part of the 90-day notice of adoption. The draft GSP is now available for review and public comment, as part of a voluntary public comment period, until October 11, 2019.  

Comments are being collected on a chapter-by-chapter basis using the form provided online at http://deltamendota.org/NCDM-gsp-review. Hardcopy versions of the draft GSP can also be viewed in person by visiting the San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority office, Stanislaus County Department of Environmental Resources, or Fresno County Department of Public Works and Planning.

Comments on the draft GSP are due on or before 11:59 p.m. PST, Friday, October 11, 2019. Comments or questions on the GSP or public comment process can also be sent to:
